Research Interest:
Climate change in high-latitude regions, with an emphasis on Arctic and Boreal systems. This includes: 1. studies of energy feedbacks, incorporating changes in snow cover and atmospheric heating, and 2. changes in vegetation dynamics, including the advance of treeline and the increasing shrubiness of the tundra, and 3. landscape fragmentation.
